Shenda Loughnane is announced as the new Global Brand President at dentsu x

The top level appointment marks the start of a new era for the ‘challenger media agency network’ within the wider dentsu group. 

London (UK), 5 December 2023: Today, dentsu X announces the appointment of Shenda Loughnane as its new Global Brand President, who will take on the mantle of leading the global media agency network brand, its international client base, and its proposition and growth strategy. 

 

As an established leader and client consultant, Loughnane brings with her extensive experience to the role, acquired from a 30-year career spanning media, creative, global and local market roles. This experience she believes will be invaluable for shaping the future of dentsu X as it embraces the rapid transformation of the media ecosystem, maximising new technologies and innovations to address the evolving business challenges for brands. 

 

Loughnane joins dentsu X from sister dentsu agency, iProspect, where she has been the Global Managing Director of the network for the past two years, and before that the Group Managing Director of dentsu Ireland. Prior to joining dentsu 12 years ago, Loughnane ran a digital creative agency for ten years and has worked for media agencies such as Zenith and Havas in both the UK and across Europe. 

 

Reporting to Will Swayne in his new role as Global Practice President – Media, Loughnane will represent dentsu X and its interest on the global media executive leadership team. In her role as Global Brand President for dentsu X, Loughnane will also oversee her own global leadership team and support dentsu X leaders in the 52 markets the agency operates in worldwide.

Loughnane will officially move into the position from 1 January 2024 and will be based jointly out of Dublin, Ireland, where she lives and, in the London, UK, Global HQ.
